life gets busy sometimes. like in the summer when the days are long and the kids are home full time. i got a little behind putting together my project life pages - but i did not get behind in documenting life, making notes about our days and recording stories + quotes from the kids. because i just keep on taking photos everyday and write down what we are doing, it makes it so much easier to put my project life pages together when i do find the time. it is not stressful. even if i am not always caught up to the current week, i know it will get done. it is not a race. it is a journey. it is called real life. project real life.
all of the photo templates used in my pages are from my simply white photo collage template collections v1 + v2. and v3 is in the works...
left side: our week in review card, a funny photo of quinn sitting on the shelf in the grocery store ("look mom, i fit right here!"), my son the duck and a photo of my album that was published in creating keepsakes special issue (read more about that here.)
i just love journaling cards with quotes and things the kids are saying. the quote about the future was something i heard on tv recently. and a photo of quinn in a shopping cart. he isn't going to fit in there much longer.
an iphone photo of quinn.
right side: lots of random photos from the week that show our everyday life like quinn's most recent favorite breakfast, the birdhouse they painted and reading with tate.
i love how the messy daily lines brushes by ali edwards really pulled together these photos from the weekend.
insert: this is my 15 on the 15th collage for july. i used my brand new 15 on the 15th photo collage templates. i put each of the 6x12 templates onto a 12x12 photo and had it printed locally at costco. i cut it in half and slipped it into a 6×12 page protector.
left side: our week in review card and all iphone photos on this page - quinn drawing in our bed, tate taking a random summer afternoon nap, more quotes from the kids and some angry birds quinn made from paper circles and markers. oh how i love his creativity.
a little something tate is saying this week and a card about the birth of the new baby prince. the royal family lover in me just had to document this.
an iphone photo of sunset in my parent's backyard. i used a stamp from paislee press' pictures + words no. 5 for the hello sunday on this photo.
right side: and this makes it officially another week using only iphone photos. bowling with the family, tate being silly under the table at my parents' house, kid quotes and our weekly iphone photo collage (template is from the simply white collection v1).
a photo of the boys watching the ipad together and stamped with the circle he & she stamps from paislee press.
quinn really wants to lose a tooth. this is what he said about it... and the new business cards that i designed for mark. i taped it onto a blank journaling card
a little photo collage from a trip to the mall with my mom, my sister and her kids. (the template is from the simply white collection v2.)
