week 3 of digital project life is done! i wasn't sure how my love of white with my simply white photo collage templates used on white background would look once my pages were printed, so i did a test print of my week 1 left side page. i printed it as a 12x12 (the same size i plan on printing my project life photo book at the end of the year) at my local costco. i loved it! the end.
i am planning on printing all of my pages into one photo book at the end of the year. at this point, i am planning on using either costco or blurb for my 12x12 book. and for now, i'm saving all of my weekly pages into an album on my ipad so we can look at our 2014 project life pages anytime we want.
i am using my simply white photo collage templates and loving the cohesive look they give my pages. i don't choose my photos based on color. instead i pick photos from the week that tell our story - and those don't always have a coordinating color scheme. i just love how my pages come together with all of this beautiful white space. it is just my thing.
this week we went to the magic kingdom at disney world in orlando, florida to celebrate tate's fourth birthday. this has become an annual trip and we meet our good friends to celebrate their son's birthday too. i wanted to enjoy the trip and not drag my big camera everywhere, so all of my photos were taken with my iphone 5.
insert: the first day of our disney trip was january 15th and that is when i document my 15 photos of our day on the 15th. because i'm going digital with project life this year, i decided to add an insert page into project life. i created this 12x12 collage template to hold all of the photos from my 15 on the 15th. i will be releasing this digital template very soon!
this insert is only one page, so i will find another 12x12 insert to add to january to balance out the pages. that is the fun part about digital project life - i don't need to make a decision now. i can always add pages later.
